Steve Drury …

Steve entered into performing magic professionally relatively late compared to his peers,  however he had an avid curiousity about magic and mentalism for many years.

Steve is well travelled and career-wise he has trailed through advertising, print and media, moving into broadcasting and internet technologies (culminating as an EMEA region manager for one on the world's largest banks). City redundancy led him to setting up web-aviso a successful website design & internet marketing business. Through this a customer friendship developed into a mentorship in the world of magic with the Yorkshire performer ‘Uncle’ Brian' Frow (senior). Through Brian, Steve subsequently also met and mentored by the Israeli mentalist and bizarre magus Roni Shachnaey, later being given the opportunity to become a founding member of Psycrets - the British Society of Mystery Entertainers with Roni and Todd Landman.  He further assisted Roni with establishing Bizarre Magic UK. 

Aside Steve runs a private hypnotherapy clinic in Colchester : Inner Rapport .

Magic shows, workshops and more 

Steve has performed magic shows and workshops for many schools, colleges, universities, businesses, Government agencies and charities across the UK.

He has also undertaken specialist magic shows and workshops for organisations and schools  supporting various spectrums of special educational needs, the physically disabled, vulnerable children and child adoption.

Professional development  

As well as on the founding committee of Psycrets, Steve is a member of Equity, the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the American Board of Hypnosis and NLP. 

He both performs, writes and lectures in both magic, mentalism, bizarre magic and hypnosis. He has also consulted on stage shows.

Steve has developed many of his own effects and routines in magic, mentalism and hypnosis and occassionally releases these for publication to the performing community
